About the Artist
I was born in Wilmington, Delaware but lived in Ft. Myers, Florida for most of my life. I've been in Tennessee off and on since 1990 and came back to Chattanooga in 2025. I've been on a journey of finding my place here as an artist; I make traditional Native American Art, and my lineage includes 5 Native Tribes as well as Irish, British, and German. My values and traditions come from the Native side, which is how I express myself. My dream is to one day open my own Native American Trading post/gift shop. I get a lot of inspiration from my mother, Alice, who is also an artist and a Cherokee elder. Being here at the gallery helps me deal with stress, anger, depression, and helps me work through my grief. I feel like I'm a part of something special here and I'm excited to share my work.
