Brooke received her Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasizing in Drawing and Painting from the University of Georgia. She has a dual degree; Master of Art Therapy and Marriage, Family, and Child Counselor. She brings to the gallery her personal love of art as an artist and her interest in the art process with others.
Chattanooga-born artist, Carrie Pendergrass, received her B.F.A. degree in Studio Art, with a concentration in Painting from the University of TN. Knoxville in 1997. She began teaching art in various public and private capacities to all age groups from child to adult, upon her return to Chattanooga in 1998. She decided to further pursue a career in art education and in 2005 received her M.Ed. from the University of TN. Chattanooga, along with a certification to teach art in k-12. She has worked as a full-time art teacher in the middle and high school levels. She also teaches art to 2nd grade public school students through an Arts Build grant-funded Artist-in-Residency Program.
Cassie has her Bachelors of Science in Nonprofit Management and Government Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a former intern and Arts and Economic Prosperity Report Coordinator for ArtsBuild. Cassie has also served as an Americorps Volunteer in Service to America stationed at Partnership for Families, Children, and Adults. She has been teaching for Hart Gallery for over five years at Salvation Army's ReCreate Cafe. Now she is the Marketing and Social Media Diva, Volunteer Coordinator and a community class teacher for her favorite organization, the H*art Gallery.
