Winter Watson

Winter Watson is a young adult on the spectrum. She moved to Chattanooga from West Des Moines, Iowa in 2023. After being threatened with a gun in her home, she wanted a drastic change of scenery. Now she lives with her grandparents while healing from her trauma. Art is a much-needed escape from reality for Winter. It allows her to fall into a world of her own making: a world of bright colors and cute things. She draws inspiration anywhere from album covers to childhood memories. Whenever she’s drawing, she’s at peace. Winter hopes to one day become an art therapist. She wants to help others find peace in art the way she does. For now, she’s focusing on finding her own peace with the help of Hart Gallery.
