Barbara "Bob" Brander
Barbara “Bob” Brander was born and raised in Chattanooga. After a divorce, she found herself experiencing struggle and poverty, which continues to plague her to this day. When a friend introduced her to art, it transformed her life by giving her an outlet through which she could express herself. Her charcoal renditions are unique and visually stunning, which express her affinity for the 1920’s Parisian scene. In 2014, she suffered a stroke but has recently begun drawing again.
