Terence Suttles grew up in Lafayette, Georgia. He comes from a working-class family who are alsomusicians, artists, and dancers. His mother encouraged him in his dream of being an artist and proving people wrong who said he couldn’tdo it.Terence grew up watching Anime and Bob Ross, listening to classical music,going fishing, and handling bugs and critters that might find themselves in the houses of friends and family. He is also a student of many philosophies,martial arts, and spiritual mindfulness practices. His art is influenced by his studiesof indigenous cultures Ancient Roman, Greek, and the Jade Dynasty history. Terence also has a lifelong love for mythology and folklore and has a talent for finding four-leaf clovers. Visual art and culinary art have always been anexpression of the way he views and experiences life through his imagination.Art also helps him to visualize his feelings.Although he was scolded for coloring outside of the lines as a child, he now embraces it and is proud that he thinks outside of the box.Art helps him replace gloom anddoom with love and light.
