Brush 'n' Brill by Jeremiah
November's feature show is Brush 'n' Brill by Jeremiah by Jeremiah Brill.
Jeremiah was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2001 as a premature triplet and spent many months in the N.I.C.U. with his brother, Jude, and his sister, Jasmine. Jeremiah has two older brothers, Justin and Joshua, who are very supportive of his love of art. Jeremiah was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. He graduated high school in 2020 from Bledsoe County High School under the love and guidance of his teacher, Jolene Fields. He has always loved to read. He has taught himself most of more than eight languages including American Sign Language and has a natural “ear” for music as he can pretty much play any instrument. He loves all genres of music and especially enjoys going to see the Chattanooga Symphony and art galleries as well as any live theater production.
Jeremiah discovered art very young in life and has continued to learn and grow not only here at Hart Gallery but also in Dunlap, Tennessee at the ceramic art gallery, Smalltown Ceramics. Jeremiah continually amazes his mom, Jackie, and his dad, Charlie, not only with his photographic memory but his kind heart and love of the arts. He and his family are very grateful to Hart Gallery for believing in him! He has made many friends here and his language skills continue to improve along with his artistic style.
The Opening Reception will be November 7 from 6-8 pm; please join us!
