Bobbie Montgomery is a mixed-media artist living in the metro Chattanooga area. She is diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder due to complex childhood trauma. She uses art as an avenue to connect with herself and others, as well as a means of financial support because she has been unsuccessful working in other work environments. She has a BA in literature, and has taught workshops in art, creativity, writing, and self-discovery. She also enjoys public speaking and working with others to help them overcome their blocks to creativity. She especially loves working with beginners teaching techniques and use of materials. Her art is whimsical, impressionistic, and reflects glimpses of her dissociation.
